Dr. Lori Roberts:
Dr. Roberts, past-president of the South Carolina Optometric Physician’s Association, has been involved with the association, having served as trustee for the board, as legislative chair, as Secretary/Treasurer, as president of the Coastal Carolina Optometric Society and as a state leader for InfantSEE. She serves on a national level as a member of numerous American Optometric Association Committees. She is the Director for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity Southeast for South Carolina. In 2006, Dr. Roberts received the South Carolina Optometric Physician’s Association Optometric Horizon Award, in 2008 & 2011 she received the Tim Burrell Legislative Award, and in 2009 she received the Young Optometrist of the year Award. In 2011 Dr. Lori Roberts received the Young Optometris of the South Award from The Southern Council of Optometrists.

In addition to being a member of the American Optometric Association, the South Carolina Optometric Physician’s Association, and the Coastal Carolina Optometric Society, Dr. Roberts is actively involved with the Association for the Blind, Special Olympics Vision Screenings, VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) International Southeast, Seacoast Church’s Dream Center Vision Clinic, Long Point Business Club and East Cooper Community Outreach. She is the owner of and practices full time at Belle Hall Eye Care.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Roberts earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and her Optometry degree from InterAmerican University School of Optometry. In 2002, she received the Association for Volunteer Services in Optometry from InterAmerican University. She and her husband currently reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina where she enjoys spending time with family, boating and horse back riding.
