W. H. Riley & Son Inc. was founded in 1873 by William H. Riley and his son Elmer Riley. Originally Riley & Son sold coal, wood, and straw but through the years they have dealt in masonry supplies, fertilizers, sand and gravel, teaming, and excavating. We later moved into fuel oils including gasoline, motor oils, and lubricating oils. Today Riley sells #2 fuel oil, kerosene, on road diesel, off road diesel, and propane. We also service and install heating and cooling equipment.
Riley & Son was incorporated in 1934 and is still owned and operated by the great, great, great grandchildren of William H Riley, Mark Allen (president & owner) and Jean Pasquantonio (CFO). Also recently joining the company are the sons of Mark Allen, Matthew and Jonathan Allen who are the seventh generation of family involved in the business.
Riley & Son currently operates out of two locations, 35 Chestnut st N. Attleboro and 125 Winter st Taunton and has 30 employees and has currently been in business (and in the same family) for 137 years
