The Native Entrepreneur In Residence (NEIR) Program is a program of the non-profit, New Mexico Community Capital. The program was developed to provide an environment that maximizes the probability of business success by providing resources for Native-owned startup and existing companies. These resources include physical space, direct financing, entrepreneurial training and development, and access to business and financial networks.
Participants can be either current business owners or entrepreneurs pursuing an innovative start-up business. Each NEIR goes through intensive business development training with the goal of building a fundable business. NEIRs must complete a boot camp style training experience to be eligible for NMCC funding.
