Mary Dooley and Chris Lynch, Principals, have dedicated themselves to the art and process of architectural design for 30 years. They apply their depth of experience to the design of houses, wineries, health care facilities, master planning, restoration, and interior design. Their personal and intimate design practice has resulted in a broad range of well built projects.
The partners met at Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design. In 2003, after working for various firms, they moved to Petaluma and created MAD Architecture. For more than two and a half decades they have designed and built award winning homes and wineries, completed notable historic restorations, adapted historic buildings for contemporary uses, implemented interior design solutions, and designed urban infill and mixed use projects.
Beauty is the motivation behind the work MAD Architectures does, and a reminder to live consciously and carefully on the planet. MAD architecture is committed to a practice that fosters lasting relationships with the people they work with.
