Founded in 1990 by award-winning New England journalist Paul F. Eno, New River Press set out to provide company and organization publications offering real news, not PR jargon. In 1992, the company began publishing books, and the Barking Cat Books imprint was added in 2009. In 2008, Paul and his son, Ben, went on the air with "Behind the Paranormal with Paul & Ben Eno," heard over the years on CBS Radio affiliates in four markets and around the world by Internet. Today the show airs in the Boston/Providence drive-time market in WOON 1240 AM and on It has become the basis for New River Press's Radio & Television Division, still being developed. Beginning in 2014, the company offers professional audio/video design and production.
