A Wabash County businessman has entered the 2018 race for Wabash County sheriff. Glenn Butcher, owner of Bass & Bucks, announced today that he is seeking the Republican nomination for sheriff in the 2018 Primary Election. He said he believes his more than 30 years of business experience will be a benefit in the post. “I bring to the table my belief in God, family values and respect for our Constitution with honesty and integrity,” he said. “I am a great supporter of private property rights, and the safety and security of Wabash County residents.” For more on Butcher’s announcement, see the Sept. 20 issue of The Paper of Wabash County.
