Welcome to Kotija Jr. Taco Shop in Leucadia, CA. We are located in the heart of Leucadia on Historic Highway 101, at the Southwest corner of 101 and Leucadia Blvd.
At Kotija Jr., we have been cooking our homestyle Ensenada style cuisine for almost 10 years in the same location, just one block from the Pacific Ocean, and home of “Hands Down, the Best Fish Tacos in Town!”
Leucadia is the oldest community of the city of Encinitas, which was incorporated in 1986 along with four other great communities within Encinitas (Olivenhain, New Encinitas, Downtown Encinitas and Cardiff-by-the-Sea). Leucadia was settled in 1875 by English Spiritualists who congregated at what is today known as Leucadia Roadside Park, which is right next door to Kotija Jr. Though it is the smallest park in San Diego County, its still a great view while having something delicious to eat on our patio.
