In the Spring of 2000, a few of the local pastors met together to discuss the possibilities of churches working together to feed the people of Willis. After many conversations and prayer, the acronym TLC, which stands for The Local Church, was adopted as the official name of this community outreach. This name is a reminder that in God’s eyes, the church is one body. TLC Food Pantry is a non-profit organization registered with the IRS.
