Attention to all the Texas Cook 'Em Competitors this weekend, Vera's has all the top of the line competition rubs, injections, pepper jellies, brines, soaks and BBQ sauces you need for this weekend. Stop on by and pick up your brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and don't forget to pick up a couple of practice steaks for the big competition while you're here. Vera's offers a wide selection of competition products to include (but not limited to) Butcher's BBQ, Kosmos Q, Chupacabra, Killer Hog, Texas Pepper Jelly, Three Little Pigs, Sucklebusters, Blue's Hog and several other well known and proven brands. It's High Steaks week and so far there's 110 teams entered for this cook-off!! Vera's King-O-Meats is proud to be a sponsor of this event and we encourage all of you interested to stop by there and watch the professionals of BBQ, from around the state and beyond, work their magic. It'll be a hot day so come dressed appropriately and wear sunblock. Don't let the pain of a sunburn ruin great food, good fun and great music!! See you guys there. For those of you entered in the cook-off, Vera's King-O-Meats carries all the top of the line meats, seasonings, pepper jellies, injections, sauces, and brines. We're less than a mile from the venue and may be able to deliver if you need it. So, whether you need a brisket, Steaks, fajitas, chicken, ice, tortillas, BBQ sauce, seasoning, foil, avocado, pico de gallo or beer, give us a ring and we'll get it to you. ($30 limit for delivery). Hang onto your hat with this one. We took a Snake River Farms 48oz Tomahawk Rib-Eye and smoked it on the Pit Barrel for 1:15, talk about killer!!!! When it comes to steak you can never be too cautious about protecting it, so we hooked up the Thermoworks DOT and monitored the internal temp from the word go. We seasoned the meat with Kosmo's Q seasonings that can be found on the website as well as the links below. I hope you enjoy this Tomahawk ribeye video and smash that subscribe button. This was in no way a paid endorsement for any of the outside products that were used in this video. Recipe: 1 Snake River Tomahawk Ribeye. https://goo.gl/mvLDWg 2. Drill a 3/8" to 1/2" hole threw the bone for hanging. 3. Season well with Kosmo's Q Cow Cover and Texas Beef Cow Cover Link: https://goo.gl/WG8VT3 Texas Beef Link: https://goo.gl/S7GjZv 4.
