Yesterday was Village School's annual hoe down! Students have been participating in different dances as part of our physical education curriculum. The hoe down was a culminating activity where students were able to show off what they've learned - Thanks to our gym teachers, Tom and Kate, for putting this together! Clearly everyone had a great time as evidenced by these smiling faces . . .

Students, parents and staff from ACES Educational Center for the Arts met with New Haven area legislators on Wednesday morning to discuss the future of magnet school funding. This past year, magnet schools across the state have seen a 6.5% reduction in funds from the state.
Reaiah Rutherford said she was scared when she first walked into the Educational Center for the Arts but now “ECA is literally my home away from home.”
