Simex International was one of the pioneer in the importation of Filipino Foods from the Philippines. The company started in the 70's as a family corporation catering to only the Filipino store in the Bay area.

At present, the company is under new ownership and it intends to compete aggressively in the growing "Oriental Market" not only limited in the Bay Area but including the whole of California and Nevada.
