In 1983, Gimmee Jimmy's Cookies & Bakery opened its doors for the first time, making spectacular cookies available to the public in simple cookie tins. Our customers returned again and again for the homemade taste found in each and every cookie. For every batch of cookies since that first day, Gimmee Jimmy’s Cookies has used only the finest ingredients.
More than 20 years later, in 2005, a great change came to Gimmee Jimmy’s Cookies with the opening of the first Gimmee Jimmy’s Cookie Bar in Montclair, NJ. At the Cookie Bar, we serve mouthwatering cookies, delicious cupcakes, custom-made layer cakes, hot and cold gourmet beverages and other yummy desserts. In honor of the move from West Orange, NJ, the site of our original bakery, we unveiled a new recipe for our cookies, changing them ever-so-slightly without abandoning our commitment to the finest ingredients and a homemade taste. We put the original recipe in a vault.
As demand for our cookies grew beyond Montclair, we began to offer more cookies to customers across the United States through our website. What we used to sell through mail-order catalogs is now instantly available online.
It is now 2010, and time for another change for our customers, this one even more exciting than our store-opening years ago.
