Established in 1985, ECLE provides high-quality, UL Listed lightning protection system components to the lightning protection and professional design industries nationwide and in Canada. Located in Winsted, CT, ECLE is a full-service manufacturer, with an on-site production facility that includes a state of the art, non-ferrous foundry, a cable braiding department, a metal machining department, an assembly department, and a stamping department.
To assure quality and compliance, UL representatives visit our factory on a regular basis to inspect and test our products. As a result, all of our products are listed and labeled for the UL Master Label program for lightning protection, which is what specifiers rely on to ensure compliance for individual lightning protection installations. ECLE products also meet or exceed the requirements for lightning protection established by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Lightning Protection Institute (LPI).
