Metro Credit Union (MCU) is proud to have over 30,000 members and is one of the largest credit unions operating in Nebraska. What began as a merger of Safeway Omaha Employees FCU and the University of Nebraska Medical Center FCU was the start of Metro Health Services Federal Credit Union. We grew from two small offices to six branch offices. Assets currently exceed $300 million and the list of available products and services rivals that of any area financial institution. Despite the growth over the past 65 years (1951), the goal of providing our members with value-priced financial services all delivered with friendly, personal service has remained intact.
