Brotherhood Become part of a close-knit group of 100 young men who share the same qualities and collegiate goals. With over 30,000 students, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and out of place at LSU, but joining a fraternity is a great way to build a core group of friends that will last for many years to come.
Social Events Not only does Phi Psi host social events throughout the year which is great way to meet new people, the brotherhood also mixes with sorority chapters at the University in order for the young men and women of the Greek community to get to know each other.
Scholastics Phi Psi puts a strong emphasis on academics. We have offered free tutoring to all active brothers who achieve minimum academic standards set forth by the chapter. Each year hundreds of thousands of dollars are available in the form of national scholarships to help assist in offsetting the ever rising cost of a college education.
Sports & University Organizations Phi Psi has been an active participant in University sponsored intramural sports like football, softball and basketball.
Leadership Each spring, select members of the Phi Psi chapter are invited to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to take part in the American Leadership Academy hosted by Brother Jerry Nelson (Founder of Ticketmaster) and other world renown Phi Psi alumni including CEO’s of major corporations, up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and even Senators.
Alumni Network As you move from college to the working world, who you know is almost as important as what you know. Phi Psi alumni from across the nation are eager to bring aboard recent graduates of their fraternity. A few famous Phi Psis include Dallas Cowboy’s Founder Tex Schramm, former President Woodrow Wilson, and current NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
