Third Federal was founded in 1938 with a simple plan: to help customers live better by offering low-interest mortgages, high-interest savings accounts and personal service that makes everyone who walks through our doors feel like family. Our mission statement embodies the goals of founders Ben and Gerome Stefanski: To help people achieve the dream of homeownership and financial security, while creating value for our communities, our customers, our associates, and our stockholders.
To meet that mission, we base everything we do on a value system of: concern for others (love), trust, respect and a commitment to excellence.
