In 1974, Door Peninsula Winery started making wine in the basement of the little 1868 Carlsville Schoolhouse with exceptional locally grown Door County fruits. Since then, the wine portfolio has expanded. 2010 marked another large expansion in the production facility allowing Door Peninsula Winery to be one of the largest producers of wine in Wisconsin.
