The church began in January 1970 and was soon named Koinonia Church with John Ault as the founding pastor. John left in 1990 and Dave Coles succeeded him, but soon was called into full-time Missions work. Dave Valentine became interim pastor until Bryan Moore became pastor for the next for 11 years. John Ault was the presiding elder having returned to Potsdam in Oct 2004. In June 2009, the church adopted a new name, New Hope Community Church. Jim Holt serves as the current presiding Elder as on April 2015. God has clearly demonstrated His faithfulness toward us over the years! We continue to look for His blessing and anointing as seek first His kingdom.
