Watson Baptist Church (WBC) was formed on October 18, 2009.
We are active members of both the State and National Southern Baptist Conventions. We have been fortunate to be able to offer functioning programs for our members that includes ten separate Sunday School classes, ranging from nursery to senior adults. WBC also provides Wednesday evening programs for our children, youth and adults. The average Sunday School attendance has been approximately 100-120 individuals, occasionally having over 130 in attendance. We feel this is significant in light of the fact that our current membership is 179.
WBC currently has six deacons who are actively serving on a rotating system, which allows deacons to serve three year terms as well as an active Deacon Family Ministry program which allows all of our ordained deacons to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of our congregation.
