Formed as part of the City of Bartlett’s community offerings, the Bartlett Performing Arts & Conference Center was fortunate to have Ron Jewell as Director at the helm for 16 years until his retirement in May of 2015.
In late 2016 Michael Bollinger was named as BPACC Director. Bollinger served as long-time Artistic Producing Director of Missouri's oldest professional regional theater - the Lyceum Theatre. He has served as Director of performing Arts Centers in Virginia and greater New York City.
BPACC was developed with concept of a multi-purpose facility in mind to provide both cultural and conference facilities to the growing city of Bartlett. With its location in the center of Shelby County, and adjacent to the City Of Memphis, BPACC is perfectly situated to draw patrons and entertainers from across the country.
Since its inaugural season in 1999, the Bartlett Performing Arts & Conference Center has continued to play host to a variety of world-class performers; from legends such as Jeff Daniels, Randy Newman and Amy Grant to crowd favorites like Rockapella, Jesse Cooke & Let’s Hang On, each season is packed with must-see events. BPACC also provides a stage for local performing groups and entertainers as part of its commitment to foster arts in the community.
In addition to its compelling arts offerings, BPACC also provides opportunities for young thespians in the community. The TheatreKidz Conservatory program is typically offered twice a year and provides students grades 7-12 a hands-on introduction to the Performing Arts. Students in grades 2-8 are invited to join our Summer Drama Camp which features individual week-long sessions throughout the summer and is a wonderful way to get your child involved in the Performing Arts
The Bartlett Performing Arts & Conference Center features a 350 seat auditorium, designed to accommodate staged performances as well as large seminars. Spaces are also available for smaller meetings or training. BPACC can also provide banquet amenities for corporate and civic events, as well as small personal parties and gatherings.
