CONCERNED associates philosophy and mission focus is "to serve small businesses regarding their people needs.". Small business consists of (500 employees or less). We are not designed to help larger companies and we believe that EAP services are best served on a "Small is Beautiful" scale, which provides more personal and better customer service than a large company because of our common sense and understanding of the power of empathy.

CONCERNED associates' staff members are master-level experienced clinicians.

Our staff provide face-to-face and telephonic counseling services to EAP members/ employees/ and family household members.
All clinicans are licensed in their particular State and hold accreditation in their field of expertise.
All programs are supervised by Nationally Certified Employee Assistance Professionals.



CONCERNED associates providers

The clinical staff of our provider partners and any affiliate (or network provider) conducting face-to face assessment, counseling, and referral services to members must meet strict professional criteria.
Staff and network providers must be capable of assessing and treating a wide variety of personal and mental health problems with diverse populations.


When contacting a clinical practice or provider for possible sub-contracting agreements, we utilize the following criteria to qualify the network provider:

All Providers have a degree in a behavioral health discipline from a college or university. These disciplines include psychiatry, clinical psychology, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, psychiatric nursing, medicine, and counseling.

Providers are licensed or registered in the discipline that qualifies him or her to enter into a professional counseling relationship. These licenses or registrations must be current and unrestricted and submitted annually.

Providers are available on an urgent on-call basis and have the accessibility and capability to respond to urgent situations.

Providers have the training and ability to conduct short-term or goal focused, problem resolution counseling when necessary.

Providers maintain a current directory of community referral resources, including non-clinical resources such as 12-step programs, financial and legal services, and self-help support groups. They are located in your local area.

Providers offer face-to-face appointments within 24 hours of an urgent situation and within three to five days of a routine request for service.

Providers have no criminal history involving serious criminal matters, no sanctions by state or federal agencies that relate to professional conduct. This is reviewed annually.

Providers have submitted an Individual Provider Application, with supportive attachments, to our network manager every two years.

Providers follow our standards and quality management guidelines.
