Theta Xi was the ONLY fraternity to be founded during the Civil War. While brothers were fighting each other, our original eight, Peter Fox, Ralph Packard, Christopher Waite, George Brainerd, Samuel Buel Jr., Henry Farnum, Thomas Raymond, and Nathaniel Starbuck, knew the importance of keeping a strong brotherhood. Over 150 years later, we continue to champion the dreams of those men in a contemporary context.
