Communication Arts (CA), the premiere journal of commercial visual communications, featured Kittner's panorama of a snowstorm clearing over The Capitol in their 2010 Photography Annual. Photo District News (PDN) recognized Kittner's photograph shot for a Sprint billboard advertisement as an “advertising campaign from around the world that caught our eye” in 2008. PDN also recognized one of Kittner's Washington, DC panoramas for digital imaging excellence that year. Kittner's new panoramic work led to a feature article with a double-gatefold in the April 2008 Washingtonian magazine. Kittner has won several recognitions from the FotoWeekDC International Awards Competition, including first place in the 2012 commercial photography division.
