HELPS is a nonprofit law firm for seniors and disabled persons on Social Security and pensions who are being harassed for debts they can't pay. It's illegal for collectors to contact someone when they are represented by an attorney, they must contact us. At HELPS we represent seniors and disabled persons so they can live their life in peace.
We also are committed to teaching seniors and disabled persons about their financial rights so they don't unnecessarily pay their collectors leaving them without money for food, heating, medicine, and other basic necessities.
