Raised in Chicago, Leo’s parents gave him the nickname Skip which stuck, just like those fond memories of family nights out at Gene & Jude’s hot dogs stand in the Chicago area. That great aroma of hot dogs and the fresh cut fries were an experience that he felt a desire to duplicate deep in the heart of Georgia. A successful musician, Skip’s passion for hot dogs needed that outlet; and lucky for all of us that together with longtime manager, Jesus Velez, Skip has grown the business over the years to include catering, his loyal customer base and some really terrific food.
