EI:
The Early Intervention Program [EIP] is a public program which offers services to children under age 3 with a suspected or diagnosed developmental delay or disability.

Potentially eligible children must be referred to the county program to receive EIP services. To refer a child to the EIP Call the Early Intervention Program in the county where the child lives: NYC 311, Nassau 516-227-8661, Suffolk 631-853-3100, Westchester 914-813- 5094. Or you can call the NYS Growing Up Healthy Hotline: 1-800-522-5006.

A child’s eligibility for the program is determined only by NY State approved Evaluators under contract with the County. Additionally, all services must be authorized by the County EIP. EI services are provided where it’s most natural and appropriate for the child such as their home, daycare, approved facilities as well as other community settings.

ALL ABOUT KIDS™ is approved by NYS Department of Health [DOH] as an EI Evaluation Site & Provider of EI services.


CPSE:
Parents who are concerned about the development of their preschool age child [ages 3-5] may refer their child to their School District’s Committee for Preschool Special Education {CPSE} to request an evaluation. The CPSE determines eligibility and
authorization of special education services.

All About Kids™ is a NY State approved {4410} Preschool Evaluation Site & Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) Program.
All About Kids™ offers Preschool Services in the home, community, and school setting, as well as at our therapeutic facilities.

FEES/FUNDING:
All services authorized by the EIP and Preschool Special Education Programs are provided at No Cost to Families. The EIP & Preschool Special Education Programs are respectively funded and monitored by NY State DOH & NY State Education Dept. as well as County governments. Health insurance is not required, but may be used by the County for Approved EI Services
