The largest and oldest professional ballet company in South Carolina is located on Main Street in Columbia. With an expansive repertoire of modern and classical ballet, the CCB is home to 35 professional dancers and the host company of the Columbia Conservatory of Dance. Artistic and Executive Director William Starrett has been overseeing the Company since 1985, and first performed for Ann Brodie and the CCB in 1977. The CCB is currently entering the 51st Season.
