With $2000 borrowed from his grandmother, Gary Potter opened Dicker and Deal, Inc. for business on June 12, 1973. Mr. Potter rented a small space in the building of 1701 S. Cedar St in Lansing. Originally, the entire business was confined to what now is our audio department. The rest of the building was leased to various small businesses. The Staff consisted of Gary and three employees. Over the years he took ownership over the entire building, added five related locations, and now employ over sixty employees.
