Quinlan Visual Arts Center

The Quinlan Visual Arts Center is North Georgia’s premier arts organization. Located in the charming historic Green Street district in downtown Gainesville, the Quinlan is the only organization of its size and scope serving the region. A 501 (c) 3 non profit organization, the Quinlan is sustained by the generosity of its membership, the local community, and the entire North Georgia region. Founded as a sketch club in 1946, the Quinlan has grown into a well-respected arts organization known for commitment to working artists, exceptional visual arts programming, and educational opportunities for the entire family.

In keeping with its mission, Bringing visual arts to life, and to the life of the community: Create, Exhibit, Educate, the Quinlan hosts up to 20 major solo and group exhibitions each year, advanced workshops with nationally and internationally acclaimed artists, classes in all media for adults and children, summer art camps, private art parties, a museum-quality gift shop featuring original art by local artists, and other special events for the community including a fine art auction every spring.
