The New York Board of Rabbis (NYBR) is the largest inter-denominational body of its kind in the world serving the tri-state areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Its over 750 members consists of Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Reconstructionist rabbis who come together for fellowship, educational enrichment and who are ready to rise above partisanship and theological differences.
The membership is committed to the ideal of unity, found in the transcendent principle of K’lal Yisrael- Jewish fellowship and communal welfare.
The New York Board of Rabbis is dedicated to the advancement the Jewish faith, as well as respect for all faiths, through the recognition of the sacred soul given to us by our Creator.
