Danceville, is in the business of enriching people's lives; of teaching non-dancers how to dance and express themselves. Danceville, actualized from the belief that dancing changes lives; hatched from an excitement to bring a little novelty and swagger into what, we believe, has become a vapid and somewhat copy-cat society. Danceville was generated by a strong desire to be right—to prove every person wrong who gloats about their “two left feet,” and their inability to learn or shake their money maker; to the cats who reference the quip, “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” Well, we can. And we do. Every day. And that’s all we ask of you. It’s all we ever ask of anyone: for an opportunity—to call your bluff—to prove to you that you can dance; that you’re not fully living if you’re not dancing; that good dancing is a lifetime investment in health, grace, poise, and confidence. And that only dancing gives you that something special, that thing none of us dancers can quite explain, that thing you just can’t put your finger on but you know it rocked your world and changed your life –it’s the same thing your friends and family will be saying you have after you let dancing seep in—it’s that “je ne sais quoi.” Literally, I don’t know what.

We did. We do. And that’s our story, our mission, our purpose—to share the gift of dance. Sure, it’s an About Us section and it’s mostly about you, but when it comes down to it, that’s us.
