Established in 1977, we are a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Volunteer Hospice Network. As an integral part of the community, we also hold membership in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce and the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce. We work closely with local medical hospices and serve as designated volunteers for Livingston Memorial Home Health and Hospice, and Assisted Home Hospice.
Our service area includes Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Newbury Park, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Agoura, Oak Park, and Calabasas, California.
Since its incorporation in 1977, Hospice of the Conejo has never charged for services, many of which are provided by professional, licensed therapists. Funding is provided by individual donations, grants from the cities of Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village, corporate and foundation grants, service clubs, and fundraising efforts of the volunteer Board of Directors.
