Our Mission: Repenning Fine Arts is a privately owned art center committed to the creating, teaching, and framing of quality art for the past 30 years. Kristin and James Repenning open their school to over 200 students each week for classes in painting and drawing. They also provide to the general public, a full service custom framing shop, art supplies and art gallery. All of their staff are working artists with experience and interest in helping you fulfill your artistic dreams. Class Offerings:

Classes cost $96 per month. Student participation depends upon classes being PAID IN FULL FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH on the first week of each month. Attendance is each student’s responsibility.

PORTRAIT PAINTING WITH NATALIE ITALIANO 8 weeks , Adults and students 16 and up Saturday mornings 9-noon Students paint from the portrait model, based on a classical approach: Starting with a monochromatic “grisaille,” the gesture of the head is blocked in by relating angles, planes and shapes, from simple to complex. Through instructor demonstrations and critiques, students progress from the grisaille, to the “duo-tone” value study, and finally to the full color study. Tuition: $350. Includes model fees Natalie Italiano is an instructor in the core program at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia and has studied and taught under Nelson Shanks for the last six years. She also attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her portraits have appeared in numerous group exhibitions and hang in many private collections. Her work can be seen at
ANIMATION CLASS Explore all aspects of the art of animation, from story boarding and character development to making your own short film! To be announced please call for availability.
