Sylvan's Special Systems

Sylvan Security - a division of Sylvan Special Systems, Inc., is locally owned and operated - was started in response to the increasing demand from our customers for a local company to provide a high quality security and service. Sylvan Security’s personnel are factory trained service technicians with experience in the security and life safety industry. Sylvan Special Systems, Inc. originally started as Sylvan Sound, which was founded in 1946 by Mr. Sylvan Phenice. At the time, Sylvan Sound provided hand-built radios and sound systems for both home and commercial use. Some of our original intercoms and radios can still be found operational today. Located in Lake Charles, Louisiana; Sylvan operates primarily in the Southwest region of the state; however, we are licensed to provide service across the entire state of Louisiana.
