Wake Radiology UNC REX has 14 outpatient imaging offices, conveniently located throughout the Triangle. Our ACR-accredited offices feature convenient, well-lit parking and many have early morning, evening and Saturday hours.
Our practice is trusted by area healthcare providers because of our imaging quality, compassionate care and expertise. We capture images that detect and diagnose illness and injury then provide actionable reports that can be used to develop treatment plans, support care and stage disease.
Wake Radiology UNC REX is the Triangle leader in breast imaging as the first provider in the area to offer 3D mammography at all locations, use artificial intelligence to aid in breast cancer detection, and be designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). All of our offices have maintained uninterrupted accreditation from both the FDA and ACR.
We offer 3D mammograms at all of our breast imaging offices. Screening mammograms do not require a physician’s order and Wake Radiology UNC REX simply requires that eligible patients have visited their physician within the past 18 months. Routine diagnostic x-rays are also available on a walk-in basis, but only if the patient has a signed physician referral.
