Point Fermin Elementary School has been educating the students of San Pedro since 1912. Many of our students in this eclectic neighborhood have grandparents who attended our school. Our unique location allows us to provide many hands-on experiences for our students. We are walking distance from Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, the Marine Mammal Care Center, Point Fermin Park, the Korean Friendship Bell, Angel's Gate Park, and Fort MacArthur Military Museum. Many children whose parents are in the military and quartered at Fort MacArthur attend our provides an ethnically and socio-economically diverse student body. Our students learn together in a safe and stimulating atmosphere. We're proud of our connections with the military, our neighborhood, our relationship with our community resources and the fabulous city of San Pedro - a whale of a town!!
