The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) is the largest independent Flight Attendant union and represents exclusively the more than 27,000 based Flight Attendants at American Airlines. Since 1977, APFA has achieved industry leading pay rates, benefits and work rules for its members. It remains active in coalition efforts with sister Unions at other carriers, lobbying for legislative issues affecting the industry and profession and is currently engaged in negotiating a new working agreement with American.
