Coastal Health District Facebook Comment Policy:
Thank you for being a fan of the Coastal Health District on Facebook. The Coastal Health District Facebook page was established to provide public health-related messaging in an effort to inform and educate the public. Our goal is to share helpful information with as many people as possible and while we do accept comments and suggestions we expect them to be presented in a respectful manner. Therefore, a comment will be deleted if it contains:
- Hate speech
- Profanity, obscenity, or vulgarity
- Defamation to a person or people
- Name calling and/or personal attacks
- Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product or comments that infringe on copyrights
- Spam comments
- Misinformation
- Other comments that the Coastal Health District Social Media team deems inappropriate.

All links posted as comments on Coastal Health District posts will be reviewed and may be deleted.
We realize that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation and response capabilities are not. We may not see inappropriate comments immediately but we will remove them as soon as possible.
In addition, we will respond to messages sent through Facebook as soon as possible but if you need to reach someone immediately, please call your local health department or contact the Savannah district office at 912-644-5200 or the Brunswick District office at 912-262-2300.
