Preble County Victim Witness Program has two full time advocates, Brenda Miller and Jenni Baker. Program Director, Brenda Miller, has worked for Preble County for several years before she began working at the Prosecutor's Office in January 2008. As a Victim Advocate for the Victim Witness Program, she helps victims of crime navigate the criminal justice system by filing protection orders and other legal documents, intervening during a crisis, and gathering restitution. Brenda is certified through the Ohio Corrections Officer Academy and has also been trained through the Attorney General's Office and the Legal Aid of Southwestern Ohio. Brenda was promoted to the position of Executive Director in March 2010.
Jenni has been a Victim Advocate with the Prosecutor’s Office since October 2016. Previously, Jenni worked for Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for 16 years. As a Victim Advocate, Jenni helps victims of crime navigate the criminal justice system by filing for protection orders and other legal documents, intervening during crisis, gathering restitution, and notifying victims of court dates and procedures.
