Certified Automotive Repair is a locally owned business, founded and managed by Ed Mortara in 2000. Ed began his career in the auto industry more than 28 years ago and moved to Nevada County from the Bay Area in 1990. Ed has been opened in his Grass Valley location since 2005.
With the new location and space Ed was able to expand, adding employees and additional services for his existing and new customers. Ed and his staff are ASE Certified Technicians and he is a current member of the Automotive Service Association.
Ed continues to be an avid community member and frequently volunteers his time and money for many community sports and projects. He has coached youth sports for more than 15 years and continues to support the following activities:
Grass Valley Little League Gold Country Youth Soccer Relay for Life Nevada Union High School Baseball, Soccer & Lacrosse Nevada Union High School Girls Softball
