Dorothy Chae is the founder of Evergreen Acupuncture and licensed in New York and New Jersey. After practicing as a supervising pharmacist in New York City for 10 years, Dr. Chae obtained a masters degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine and a PhD in Oriental Medicine. Fluent in Korean and English, Dr. Chae interned at the Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY and at the Kyung Hee University Hospital in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Chae is also an adjunct professor at the New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY, where she supervises their acupuncture clinic, and teaches courses on acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has been certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Chae specializes in women’s health issues, such as infertility, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PMS, irregular menstruation, polycystic ovaries, mental health (anxiety and depression), pregnancy, postpartum care, and menopause.
