Northglenn Ambulance is a Colorado non-profit ambulance service. We were founded in 1963 by the citizens of the area which would soon be incorporated as the City of Northglenn, a suburb of Denver. Although our company has grown over 750% during the last 4 decades the City of Northglenn remains the home to our headquarters.
In 1994 our service area expanded outside of the city boundaries of Northglenn. We currently have 6 stations throughout Adams and Denver counties. Northglenn Ambulance is the primary 911 contract provider in the South Adams County Fire Protection District. In 2004 we began providing BLS services.
Community volunteers provided oversight and operations for our company until the end of 1989 when our first paid staff members were introduced. Operational goals are now met utilizing the skills and dedication of both career and volunteer staff members.
