Harriet's Restaurant opened in June 1979 in what was formerly Petersen's Ice Cream Parlor. It was named after my then recently deceased Grandmother Harriet Wisner. Miraculously, it survived and flourished in spite of our collective youth and inexperience.
It didn't take long before we were being asked to help with people's home & business events. After 20 years we closed Harriet's Restaurant and became full-time caterers.
In 2002 we opened "Harriet's Outback" which is located behind the former Harriet's Restaurant and features retail prepared dinners, salads, soups, breads and desserts.
We also use the former restaurant as a charming venue for private events such as birthdays, showers, and rehearsal dinners.
We look forward to serving you in any or all of these three aspects of Harriet's Catering!
