-We manufacture electric fishing reels for deep dropping of all types. -We also manufacture electric teaser reels as well. -The Hooker Electric is powered by 12vdc. -The speed is variably controlled with a potentiometer from 0 to 500 feet per min. with no power loss. -The Hooker Electric also comes with a wireless remote control that when pressed puts the reel into full speed until you let off the button. -The reel is capable of pulling 60 amps but normally runs at 40 amps on full load. -The dc motor is capable of producing 1500 watts of power, that converts to over 2 hp. -The Hooker Electric weights lbs more that the original reel. -The handle remains attached and usable for back-up or for a manual fight. -We fit them only on Shimano Tiagra 80W and 130W fishing reels for now.
