Carolina OB/GYN started in October of 1988 by Dr. Gayle Richmond in a small building located in Georgetown, SC beside Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Many things have changed in the past 25 years, but the passion for "Compassionate Care for Women by Women" is not one of them. The office is currently staffed with five providers, a nurse practitioner, and a nurse midwife. Carolina OB/GYN now has two locations, one in Georgetown and another facility that opened in September of 2003 in Murrells Inlet.
