Cascade Fur Salon

I fell in love with the warm-wrap industry nearly 40 years ago.

I got my first taste of the fur industry in my early 20's, when I started working at Alaska Fur Co. in downtown Grand Rapids.

I also worked several years with furriers on the east side of the state to further my skills. I received formal training in New York City and received my "Certificate of Designing, Patternmaking and Grading of all Fur Garments" upon graduation. The course instructor and his family were the Queen of England's personal furriers at Buckingham Palace. I am also a certified member of the "Master Furriers Guild of America".

Then, in 1983, I decided to open my own fur salon and Cascade Fur Salon was born.

We provide on-site Retail Fur Sales, Storage, Cleaning, Repairs, and Restyling. 

April and May are peak season for Fur Storage. Cascade Fur Salon charges $29.00 per year for Storage and $39.00 for Cleaning and Glazing. We run our Spring Specials during this time also and are posted on this page.

When the downturn hit West Michigan, many fur-owning customers opted for Repairs and Restyling their current pieces rather than replacement. When people aren't buying, we're extremely busy with Restyles and Repairs.
We do 100% of the work and services on all furs at our salon location. This includes Repairs, Restyling, Cleaning & Storage.
