Bunbury Theatre Company Bunbury Repertory Theatre company was founded in 1985 as a not for profit (501c3) professional theatre company. Our mission is to create enriching and diverse live theatrical experiences for the community and its artists in an intimate professional setting.
Our vision is to be an organization that strengthens and enhances patron's acceptance and support and positively impacts our community while fostering creative growth and expression for and by our artists.
On July 18, 2007 Bunbury Theatre opened its new home at the historic Henry Clay . The 9,000 square foot, 144-seat theatre was designed by Steve Woodring of the Kentucky Center. For 13 seasons Bunbury performed in a 99 seat seat theatre on 7th and Main.
This past season our partnerships with The Center for Women and Families, Metro Police, Luther Luckett Correctional Facility and Kindred Health Care as well as The Young Presidents Organization has increased our focus on social issues that effect our society.
