Established in 1982, Park Veterinary Hospital has been serving the needs of Durham and Chapel Hill pet owners for 28 years. We have been at our present location since 1986. In 2000 our hospital was renovated and doubled in size to 6000 square feet. Our multi-doctor practice is one of the largest in the Triangle and unique with our daily Doctors' Rounds that enable multiple doctors to give invaluable input on complex and challenging cases. Park Vet supports many worthwhile rescue and humane groups including the APS and Independent Animal Rescue, and offers discounts to rescue groups, strays and good samitarians. Through AnimalKind we help spay and neuter pets for those who cannot afford it. As President of the NC Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. McHugh developed the Helping Hands Fund to assist needy clients with paying for pet emergency treatment.
