What should I know about the worship services? We have two worship services. Our Early Worship Service is at 8:15 AM downstairs in our Fellowship Hall. A nursery is provided for this service. The sermon is the same at both services and both services reflect our rich reformed heritage. The 10:30 AM service is held in the Sanctuary and is supported by a chancel choir. It has a traditional style that is still relaxed and structured to support the entire family. We have a children’s sermon each week and children up to age 6 can participate in Children’s Church. Informal dress is okay at both of our services.
Where do I park and enter the building for worship? Paved parking is available on three sides of our building, easily accessible to the Sanctuary, Office areas and Educational space.
Which doors are handicapped accessible? All doors leading off of our parking lots are handicap accessible and handicap parking is located at the front entrance of the Sanctuary and Office areas.
Where is the nursery located? The nursery is located on the main level of the church in the Education Space, just off the Gathering Area. It can be reached by exiting the Sanctuary on either side or by entering the building through the Office area. It is actually in the center of the building, easily accessible from any part of the building.
How does the congregation observe communion? We observe communion on the first Sunday of each month at both services. At the early service, we come forward and use intinction (breaking off a piece of the bread and dipping it into the cup). At the 10:30 AM service we receive communion in the pews but have a tradition of holding the elements until everyone is served.
Communion for Sick, Shut-in or Homebound: The session is offering to serve Communion at home to anyone unable to join us in the Sanctuary. We also visit nursing homes and care facilities. Please let us know of anyone who would like to take part of this special service.
