Unhappy about the President's proposed cuts to science? Let Congress know in person!! We'll have more info coming soon about what you can do now, but in the meantime, think about joining us for the annual Geosciences Congressional Visits Days (Geo-CVD) on September 12-13, 2017. This is an excellent opportunity for geoscientists to showcase the importance of federal geoscience programs to the nation. Geo-CVD starts with a half-day orientation and training session, followed by a full day of visits with members of Congress and/or their staff. These visits are arranged by society staff who will also accompany groups of participants on the office visits. This year AGI has implemented a short application process for prospective Geo-CVD participants. If you are interested in attending Geo-CVD, we encourage you to fill out the online application form. Please note that the application deadline is August 17, 2017. For more information and to apply:
